Due to a reduction in attendance and a lack of volunteers, B-RAY will
suspend operations after Dec 17, 2006.
There are plans to try to reorganize and perhaps resume B-RAY in the future.
Thanks to the Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County and our many adult volunteers,
for helping B-RAY provide a safe since for LGBTQ youth since 1998.
B-RAY's mission was:
Every Sunday, from 2pm - 5pm, in Teaneck (Bergen County) New Jersey, B-RAY
(short for Bergen Rainbow Youth)
provides a safe and welcoming environment
where Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Youth (LGBTQ)
come to relax, and meet other teens (ages 14 - 21).
B-RAY is a place
to learn more about the LGBTQ community.
Every Sunday
(except
during three day weekends)
from 2pm - 5pm, B-RAY is a safe space
where LGBTQ youth come together to discuss and search for answers
to their real-world concerns and met other LGBTQ youth.
Other social events are scheduled throughout the year.
